A set of solutions for risk control and bank fraud, using artificial intelligence (AI) systems and machine learning, was presented this Tuesday, November 20, to representatives of several Mozambican financial institutions, by SAS (Statistical Analisys System) and its local partner, Cilix Software.
To this end, Cilix has established a partnership with SAS, the world leader in "Analytics" based in the USA and for 25 years operating in South Africa. It should be noted that Cilix is a Mozambican company specializing in software services , dataenter and internet for company, created in Mozambique for 14 years, having been responsible for providing services to the largest companies in the country and to the Government. "This brings us advantages because we know the national market and its needs well," said João Leopoldo.
During the meeting, João Leopoldo said that the solutions presented to the banking sector aim to help in a predictive way the minimization of risk, as well as in the detection and, thus, to prevent fraud in banking applications, a practice not only in our country but also in the rest of the world.
"How often are we confronted with sudden information that debts have occurred in our bank accounts if we were in countries far away, such as Singapore, when we are at the moment in Mozambique? The solution that we present to Mozambican banks allows us to detect and prevent this type of fraud, "said Leonard Scoth, SAS Sales Leader.
In turn, SAS partner manager Alexandre Negrão explained that SAS solutions operate on the basis of artificial intelligence, which works by "combining large amounts of data with fast, interactive processing and intelligent algorithms, allowing SAS software to automatically learn with patterns or information.
